i think UT could work for NASA... I'm very impressioned about transformation: when you take it in your hands you think "it's impossible to transform this car to Lockdown".
The transformation is more easy than you can think, but, of course, you have to pay really big attention.
The impression about material and all pieces are very good: probably it's very difficult to broke something but i hope that not find out .
I think the price is correct about this amazing Transformer.
Only one bad part: this f*** dog... it seems a toy, not the same quality of Lockdown.
You have to consider it as per gift, probably will remain on blister...
if you have any doubt about purchase, buy it, belive me: you will not be disappointed!

I also feel compelled to give UT my support through this review, for producing this masterpiece of a figure.
Third party toys are unlicensed, which is completely appropriate for this character, since he is neither an autobot or a decepticon.
The steeljaw design looks like it was inspired from Prime1 Studios statue of Lockdown, but that statue came with two.  But the statue also didn't transform, and cost over a grand.
The only thing I can think of which could make this figure perfect, are the hands.
Also one thing I did notice later on, is that the eyes are translucent, so there could have been an opportunity for light-piping.
The diecast parts are obvious, since the paint did not perfectly match the rest of the body,
I'm using other toy companies like Bandai or Takara Tomy as a benchmark, since you would have to apply the cold touch technique just to tell if parts were diecast.
Again these gripes are minor, and are simple opportunities for improvement.

Amazing!  The engineering and design is fantastic. Shame the Steeljaw that comes with it is not as detailed, but that is a minor gripe. Overall this is superb! I would like to see these guys make a DOTM megatron and Shockwave for sure!

This was my first 3rd party purchase and I have to say I am on the fence. The detail and the likeness of the toy to lockdown is amazing. Where I feel like the price isn't justified is the lack of ratchet joints. I am new to the hobby and I just find friction joints unimpressive and weak. I haven't had toys for 20 years and I don't know the cons of having ratchet joints but I sure enjoy playing with my toys much more when they can hold up their rifle. Unique toys did a wonderful job with the detail/paint and the transformation really was a lot of fun. I thought it would be more intuitive but found myself looking up a couple reviews just to make sure I didn't snap off a tab.

I am not very picky but found I was very disappointed in robot puppy. I just feel like they missed the ball on it. I would've rather had the spark extractor in amazing detail then a dog.

I also think they went cheap safe and easy with the hands. No excuse when UFO and other 3rd part accessory companies have figured it out long ago.

I have'nt looked how they are pegged in but I hope there will be another choice soon. I would gladly pay 20-35 for a pair of hands and spark extractor.

Overall I am impressed and don't regret my purchase at all. I like most people want everything for nothing but decided they deserved my support based on what there is to love!
